The FCA Markets Practitioner Panel uses various channels of public (and private) communication, as necessary, to highlight specific areas of concern or outline its activities more generally.
These include evidence/responses to government inquiries and reviews and correspondence with FCA executives, HM Treasury officials and other relevant parties, such as other regulatory bodies and committees. A selection of such publications is posted in this section.
Since its formation in 2015, the FCA Markets Practitioner Panel has contributed to the FCA’s domestic, European and international policy work by providing direct feedback during its meetings and in working groups. This collaborative working relationship means that the majority of Panel input is provided prior to public consultation, rather than through formal consultation responses
